I just got home from a long day at the gym and immediately dropped my bags in my office and walked to the pantry. Stop! Turn around. Go to the refrigerator. There must be something healthier and less processed.
Now mind you, a half hour ago when I walked in the door I was not even hungry. It is just this natural response when I have been gone all day to reach for a snack. Today, this was the snack I was reaching for….did you know Doritos has a new flavor? Salsa Verde. Arriba!
Instead, I grabbed a carrot, some fresh peppers and some hummus. I chowed it down as I was taking pictures and I am just as satisfied if not more than some MSG infested Doritos.
So what are you going to reach for in the pantry? Stop, think and make a smarter choice. You will be satisfied that you did.


You should have posted this 5 minutes ago! I just ate 5 starburst candies when I should have eaten a fresh orange from the neighbor’s tree! Ahhhh!
